December 02, 2025

The annual list recognizes the industry-leading companies that are the best at what they do.

Inc. selected Lineage for its scaled and streamlined business processes around customs bonded warehouses which help customers pivot their supply chains amid shifting trade policies.

Lineage, Inc. is thrilled to announce it has once again been selected for the Inc. 2025 Best in Business list in the innovation category. The annual awards celebrate companies and leaders bringing remarkable business wins to life. This marks the second year in a row the world’s largest global temperature-controlled warehouse REIT has been recognized by the leading media brand and playbook for entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Inc.’s Best in Business list honors companies that, through exceptional execution, have achieved significant milestones and core business wins, like customer expansion, key product launches, increased market share and industry-defining accomplishments. Companies from a wide range of industries – such as technology, health care, finance and retail – have been recognized for their success and their positive influence on the business world. The full list can be found on Inc.com and in the upcoming winter print edition of Inc. magazine.

“Each Best in Business honoree achieved a breakthrough moment this year. Some unveiled groundbreaking innovations while others launched savvy marketing campaigns or strategically implemented AI in their companies,” says Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “No matter what their business win looked like, their projects and initiatives had a sizable impact on their company and even on their industry at large, making them worthy of this honor.”

In compiling this year’s list of honorees, Inc. staff focused on projects and initiatives that delivered meaningful results for their industries, customers or future growth. Lineage’s submission outlined how the company has scaled and streamlined business processes around its customs bonded warehouses.

Recognizing bonded storage as an important tool that can support supply chain resilience amid shifting global trade policies, Lineage developed a comprehensive bonded warehousing playbook to drastically accelerate site activation. This included a replicable application toolkit, a proprietary reporting system through Lineage’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and a detailed operational manual. As a result of these efforts, Lineage has reduced the average time for CBP approval at its warehouses over the past year from six months or more to as little as four weeks.

"It’s an honor to be named to Inc’s Best in Business Awards list once again," said Greg Lehmkuhl, president and CEO of Lineage. “This achievement is a perfect example of the impact our dedicated teams can make when they set out to deliver world-class solutions for our customers.”

The customs bonded warehouse initiative aligns with Lineage’s broader efforts to support global customers navigating the complexities of imports and exports with speed, compliance and confidence. Furthermore, with recent tariffs rolled back on food products, Lineage stands ready to help customers seize market opportunities and move nimbly utilizing its strategically located network and integrated logistics solutions.
