Lineage Strengthens Polish Footprint with Lębork Facility Expansion

Strategically located within the Pomorskie region, where Lineage also has a site in the port of Gdańsk, the expanded cold storage facility will help improve operational efficiencies and streamline the food supply chain across Poland and beyond.
Lębork, Poland – Lineage, the world’s largest global temperature-controlled warehouse REIT, announced today the opening of its expanded temperature-controlled facility in Lębork in the Pomorskie region (northern Poland).
Marking Lineage’s continued efforts to support customers’ demands of the fast-growing economies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), the expansion increases the warehouse’s pallet space capacity by approximately 30%, boosting its total pallet space capacity to over 40,000. Mobile racking systems have also been implemented on the new site.
The opening of the expanded warehouse follows the opening of a new regional headquarters in Warsaw, Poland, in November 2023.

In addition to our newly expanded Lębork facility, we also have a cold storage facility with more than 43,000 pallet positions in Gdansk, home to one of Europe’s fastest growing ports.”
“In the last decade, according to Port Gdańsk, the port of Gdańsk saw an increase of around 170% in transshipments, with roughly 68.2 million tonnes of transshipments in 2022.
