Lineage continues investing in sustainability initiatives across the network and the Norwegian facility footprint especially stands out for its green credentials. The Haugesund facility runs over 880 solar panels to help support renewable energy generation on-site.

The Moss facility — a cold storage warehouse uniquely built inside a cave — now recovers approximately 1.3 GWh of waste heat per year. It feeds approximately 800,000 kWh into the local district heating grid to help warm hospitals and public buildings, with another 500,000 kWh reused on-site.
